This Privacy Policy describes how Educere ("we," "our," or "the site") collects, uses, and handles information when you visit educere.app and its subpages. We are committed to protecting your privacy and to transparency about our data practices.

Educere is designed to be used without creating an account or providing personal information. We collect the following limited data:
- Usage Analytics: We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with the site — pages visited, time on page, general geographic region (country/city level), device type, and browser. This data is anonymized and aggregated; we cannot identify individual visitors.
- Local Storage: Some game features (such as score history or progress) may be stored in your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device and is never sent to our servers.

2. Google AdSense and Advertising
Educere displays advertisements provided by Google AdSense (pub ID: ca-pub-4761119188262585) to support the cost of operating this free educational platform. Google AdSense may:
- Use cookies and similar technologies to serve personalized ads based on your browsing history.
- Collect data as described in Google's Privacy Policy.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ad Settings or by using the cookie consent banner on this site to decline non-essential cookies.
We do not show ads directly within the game canvas — ad slots appear in the page layout outside of active gameplay areas.
3. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
Educere's content is designed for middle and high school students (approximately ages 11–18). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We do not require registration, ask for names or email addresses, or create user profiles.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has submitted personal information to our site, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
Google AdSense has been configured with non-personalized ads for users who have not consented to personalized advertising, in compliance with COPPA and GDPR-K requirements.
